Sunday - Oct. 4: A morning departure
has you heading for your overnight stop for check-in. Dinner is on your own this evening. (Please
pack an overnight bag.)
Monday - Oct. 5: After
breakfast, check out and depart for the Cajun Country of New Orleans, also known as the “Big
Easy”. Upon arrival, you will check into your motel. This evening you will enjoy a delicious dinner
at one of New Orleans’ popular restaurants.
Tuesday :Oct. 6: Enjoy breakfast, then depart on a guided tour of New Orleans and its historic
sites. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a Swamp Tour of the Bayous. Dinner will be at one of
the popular restaurants in New Orleans this evening.
Wednesday – Oct. 7: Following
breakfast, enjoy the day exploring New Orleans at your own pace. Visit the French Quarter, New Orleans’ most popular
neighborhood and one of the best preserved historical neighborhoods in America, where you can have lunch on your own and do
some shopping. The French Quarter features a strong, lasting Spanish and French influence and is home to the best-known
party street in New Orleans…Bourbon Street; you may visit the Riverwalk and Jax Brewery. This evening enjoy a
cooking demonstration and dinner at New Orleans School of Cooking.
Thursday - Oct. 8: After breakfast,
you will visit Mardi Gras World where you will see the colorful costumes and floats from New Orleans’
famous Mardi Gras celebration. Afterwards, you will depart for the Natchez Riverboat for a spectacular
luncheon cruise along the might Mississippi River. Afterwards, enjoy free time in the French Quarter.
Dinner is on your own this evening.
Friday - Oct. 9: Enjoy breakfast, then check out and travel to your overnight stop where lodging has been arranged for you this
evening. (Please pack on overnight bag.) Dinner is on your own in the local area.
Saturday – Oct. 10 Enjoy
a continental breakfast, then check out and prepare for your departure home with lasting memories of your journey into the
deep South, Cajun Country of New Orleans.
