Monday, June 14: Depart from Illinois aboard your motorcoach
& travel toward Tennessee. Stop for lunch along the way. Arrive in Nashville - The Home of Country Music &
meet your guide for a tour of Nashville. You will see the homes of well known country & western entertainers as
well as the Parthenon, which is the world's only full scale replica of the original Parthenon in Athens. Today the Parthenon
functions as an art museum and stands as the centerpiece in Centennial Park. A stop will also be made at the Upper Room
Chapel. After your visit, continue to your hotel where you will be lodging for the next three nights and prepare for
dinner and an entertaining show at the Taxas Troubadour Theater. John Beardley's hit show, "A Tribute to the King
Through the Years" pays tribute to the King in Music City where Elvis recorded over 300 songs. This high energy
live musical biography transports the audience through six phases of his career with over 30 songs and costume changes.
Tuesday, June 15: After breakfast, relax at the hotel until
it's time to depart for the Opryland Docks to board the General Jackson Riverboat for a luncheon cruise with entertainment.
Afterwards, spend the afternoon at the Opry Mills Complex where you can do some shopping and have dinner on your own at one
of the fine restaurants. Your day will end with an outstanding show at the Grand Ole Opry. The Grand Ole Opry
blends the excitement of a live audience, the heritage of the world's longest-running live radio show, & an incredible
mix of talent.
Wed., June 16: Enjoy breakfast, then depart for downtown Nashville for a self-guided
tour of the Country Music Hall of Fame, a state of the art cultural landmark and the world's largest music museum. The
museum features an array of rare costumes, instruments, historial mementos and tear-stained lyric sheets which serve to entertain
and educate audiences from all over the world. Afterwards, you may enjoy lunch on your own and free time in downtown
Nashville. Visit the Honky tonks on Broadway, the breeding ground for hopeful performers, musicians, & songwriters.
While in the downtown area, enjoy a self-guided tour of the Ryman Auditorium, the original home of the Grand Ole Opry.
You will also tour RCA Studio B, home of the 1,000 hits and where Elvis recorded over 200 songs. Return to your hotel
to freshen up before continuing to the Nashville Nightlife Dinner Theater where you will enjoy a wonderful buffet dinner and
