AM at Patti's Inn & Suites lobby, dinner Fri. evening at Patti's Restaurant. We
will enjoy TWO great Christmas shows, " Variety Christmas Extravaganza!”
& "Down Home Country Christmas!". Both of these performances include many, many Christmas
Fri. Dec. 4th, we will pick passengers up at their pickup location, take a break in
Mt. Vernon, get lunch (on your own) around noon. After lunch we’ll check in at Patti's Inn & Suites &
depart for the theatre at 1:30; at 2:00 we'll enjoy "Variety Christmas Extravaganza!” - awill walk across the street to Patti's Restaurant for a wonderful, delicious
included dinner, includes tip, at Patti's
1880 restaurant with choice of: one-inch pork chop or boneless grilled chicken, or catfish dinner, salad, flowerpot bread,
dessert, etc. More details below.
we will go back across the street to the Badagtt Theatre to enjoy "Down Home Country Christmas!". JoWhen that production is over, we will return to our hotel.
Sat. Dec. 5th, We will enjoy a hot breakfast
at the hotel & depart at 8:30 AM. We will take a short break in Mt. Vernon; you may get some lunch/snack there if you
want to; we arrive back to Flora about 12:00. Since we will only have an overnight bag please put your own luggage tag
on it & please take care of it yourself.
Details about our meal:
1” inch pork chop--This is a smaller version of our big house specialty; a half a pound
of pork boiled over an open flame and basted with our special seasoning& sauce.
Grilled Chicken--This is an 8 oz boneless chicken breast, charbroiled
& basted with a carefully blended array of herbs & spices.
Catfish Dinner--Catfish fillets rolled in our special flour
& seasoning & deep-fried, serve hushpuppies.
Entrees will be served with baked potato, garden salad, and our flowerpot bread
with both whipped and strawberry butter. Delicious!!!!!
Dessert will be a ½ serving of:
Bill’s boatsinker pie,
a rich dark double fudge pie topped with vanilla ice cream, piled high with whipped cream and drizzled with a chocolate syrup
and topped with a cherry.
Sawdust pie, coconut, pecan, and graham cracker crumbs Incorporated in an egg white and baked in a
flaky pie shell, topped with fresh sliced bananas and whipped cream. The house specialty!
Old Fashioned Butter Crumb Apple Pie, a careful mixture of sliced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon baked in a flaky pie
shell and finished with a butter crumb topping covered with caramel.
